Private yoga sessions are tailored just for you and are ideal for injury recovery, privacy, and those with busy schedules. What does your body and mind need? FLOW - Flow is a vinyasa yoga practice that connects yoga postures (asanas) with the breath (pranayama) in a flowing sequence of movements. Flow sequences include a range of standing, seated, and balancing postures, along with forward folds, inversions, back bends, and targeted core strengthening.  UNWIND - Unwind your thought and the tightness in your shoulders while moving at a comfortable pace with less intensity and strain on your muscles and joints. In our Unwind session, we explore gentle yoga poses that are accessible for all levels and all bodies. RESTORE - Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow style that involves long, passive holds in a series of restful poses. Props support the body and enhance alignment while muscles relax and the heart rate slows. Restorative yoga helps to balance the mind and body, release tension and activate the parasympathetic nervous system. RECOVER - We often bring our injuries and pain with us to the mat – both physical and mental. Recover sessions help to restore flexibility and range of motion. It strengthens and realigns older bodies to improve balance, lowering the chance of falls, and encourages independence. GROUND - Ground is where you sit, connecting with your breath, watching your thoughts, and observing the sensations that arise. Ground sessions incorporate soothing soundscapes, gentle breath-work, and heart-centered awareness. To be grounded is to be conscious, focused, and aware of what is happening in the present moment — in one’s mind, body, and environment. Private session includes : • A virtual 1-hour session of yoga, meditation, and pranayama. • Access to bite-sized content, videos, and articles Note: If you would prefer a private session on the weekend (Saturday or Sunday), please contact us at hello@theanxiousyogi.org. Weekend classes incur an addition fee of $50.
