ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Hello.
I'm Avenelle /ăh-vuh-nell /an educator, explorer, writer, and gatherer, half Southerner - New Orleans, half West Coast - Oakland CA, and the founder of The Anxious Yogi. I began exploring yoga to ease my anxiety. Over the past decade, my practice and teachings were my anchors, enabling me to evolve, revealing calm amidst chaos, stillness within movement, and the ability to surrender in times of uncertainty. I'm here to share my insights and learnings.
